The Good:
The pigmentation. WIthout doubt. These are the strongest most vivid-pigmented lip sticks i have ever come across. Its not a lie to say you need a tiny drop to do a hole mouth. With so many shades to choose from you can mix and match to your hearts content.
Blurring the lines between a lipstick and lipgloss, these dry down to a semi-matte long wearing finish.
The Bad:
The pigmentation. If you use too much and your surely will these will bleed like no tomorrow.
I've heard women complain about them drifting into fine lines around the mouth etc... again this is mainly due to over application.
The bottles can get somewhat "stuck" meaning the pigment and the oil separate so when you squeeze them you get "lots of oil" and very little colour. If this is happening to you shake the bottle for 60 seconds and then palpate it. This will shift the oil and pigment. Also squeezing from the bottom up makes life much easier.
Final Thoughts:
Personally speaking i adore these for the colours you can create and the pigmentation levels. I think the price point is very reasonable for what you get and for how long they last.
Granted i think perhaps a better applicator might be something OCC should look into but it would certainly not put me off buying these. In fact ... i have them all.

John Frieda Sheer Blond Lightening Spray
I bought this a week ago and thought i would give it a try. I mean, its SUN'IN really isn't it and everyone knows that stuff is horrible ... but ... this is actually pretty bloody good!
My hair is light anyway, but i have a lot of gold undertones which means when highlighting my hair it can take a long long time to remove these.
So i was very skeptical about using this thinking "its gonna go gold, its gonna go gold"... but it didn't. It just very lightly lightened my hair.
Its almost a shame i'm having it cut shortly! I will add a link in a video i film today so you can see the gradual lightening effect its had.
I am very very pleased with this product and i honestly didn't think i would be.

The Good:
This product lies somewhere between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation. It provides more coverage than a tinited moisturiser yet not as much coverage as say your normal foundation.
This also provides very little "emolience" so oily skins will love this.
The product is adjustable so if you need more you can always layer and these layer very well. The skin finish is demi-matte giving a very real skin like effect. People with normal/combination/oily skin will probably love these.
The Bad:
The shade ranges are broken down into two catorgrays: Red (for pink undertones) and Yellow (for yellow) undertones.
Sadly not everyone will fall into any one catogray. This can mean you on the rare occasion you might need - for example - R3 and Y3 to get a perfect match. Sure you are getting twice the amount of product but you are also having to pay double the amount.
The finial finish on the skin is demi-matte and this product does not love dry skin. So if you're prone to dryness then this product will mostly likely not be for you. If you are looking for full coverage than you might be disappointed as this offers sheer to medium coverage.
The squeeze top can over produce product so use restraint when squeezing.
Final Thoughts:
This is a very interesting product and one that i actually like. While i don't see myself using it daily or on clients i can see many people loving this product for its sheer coverage and true HD perfection. Blending with a stippling brush is a much better option than a standard foundation brush. It feels light to the touch and providing you like matte finishes you will be happy. I would like to see a neutral shade selection added as few people enjoy mixing and matching.
The price point is medium/high depending on what brands you are currently buying.
In the US this retails at $25.00
In the UK this retails at £16.99

EYE SECRETS REVIEW
I don't like reviewing products badly you know. I honestly prefer to give happy smiley good reviews but sometimes you just need to be honest about things and eye secrets - eye stripes - are one of those products.
Tiny pieces of sticky plastic that go on the eye (in the crease) that give the illusion that your eye is more open (less hooded etc...)
And yes they work. But only just. They are not "invisible" as claimed. They cannot be used over makeup (eyeshadow) easily - as they don't adhere well and STAND OUT like a sore thumb on anything but the most neutral eyeshadow.
The most shocking things about these tapes is the price. £30 for 66 TINY bits of sticky tape. You honest could get the same effect from using a tiny bit of invisible tape.
There is a high trial and error phase while learning where to place it - which isn't always easy - and at £30 a go, you will waste a few.
These are incredibly sticky and in the long term the removal of these could cause more trouble than good (pulling on already loose skin on the eyelids etc...)
I really am sorry i could give these a more positive review. But i am honestly shocked at this product and normally even with a not great product you can see something good but for what you get here at £30 this is one product that i cannot find anything good to say. And that makes me sad.
Youtube review coming...

NARS NEW ORDER BLUSH/HIGHLIGHTER
NARS New Order Blush/Highlighter is a new NARS product designed to highlight the features - ala - Albatross.
This product contains less pigment than Albatross and other NARS Blushers - but thats a good thing here.
I would not recommend buying this as a BLUSH as its too shiny and frankly, only very VERY pale women could get use from it - but as a highlighter is does a great job.
Unlike some previous reviews of this product i did not find large chucks of glitter with this, or huge amounts of fall out. Yes the shimmer/glitter is larger than some other highlighters but i liked that - i also found the colour to be very complimentary on light-medium-tan skin tones.
If you're using a blusher with ample shimmer do you really need this? No. But if you want something to highlight your features and are interesting in investing in a higher end product then this is a good one.
Frankly i prefer this to my DIOR Pressed Shimmer Powder.
Wayne.
NOTE: This looks amazing on the cupids bow as a highlighter :)

INGLOT 40 PAN FREEDOM SYSTEM
INGLOT are releasing the NEW 40 Pan Freedom Palette. Amazing isn't it. 40 Matte shades too which pleases me no end.
I think INGLOT really lost a lot of people when priced increased by 65% - which is staggering. But as i mentioned in my youtube videos - these still are great eyeshadows at a good (not great) price.
The pigment is amazing on them and the shades are vast - and with the inclusion of more matte shades everyone is happy.
Clearly INGLOT are on to a winner with the freedom system and anyone that has used them can see why.
Will i be getting this? Maybe. It depends on the price really. I am assuming in the UK it will be around the £150 plus mark but i'm not sure? Thats a guess.
Either way, are you loving this and wanting this? Let me know ...

MAC MAGICALLY COOL LIQUID POWDER
Remind you of anything????
Prescriptives magic powder? Remember it? All the hype? All the fuss? Will give you a candle light glow? Well it didn't work as they wanted back then and it still doesn't now.
What it does do is impart a subtle amount of light shimmer to the skin and is a great option for people who are sick of matte powders.
The one thing that i think is very good is the shimmer seems less so than the older magic powder. Which is a good thing.
Here is a funny thing before i leave you all. CONTAINS 70% water! Thats the claim. 70% water! So you mean i'm spending £23.50 on something that is 70% water!
:)

MAKEUP ATELIER PARIS EYESHADOWS
Ever since the IMATS Lonodn when i bought my first two palettes i've been in love with the textures but most importantly the pigment. The more pigment the more fall out - big deal. I want a product that gives me maximum colour payoff for a great price.
These palettes come in many different colour ranges from matte to shimmer to near glitter. They also come in refills so you can buy whatever you feel.
An artistic range is also available giving you double the size for £7.50.
The above eyeshadows cost £4.75 here in the uk from
http://www.love-makeup.co.uk/makeup-atelier-paris-shadow-refill-p-4909.html
And the artistic ones are here
http://www.love-makeup.co.uk/makeup-atelier-paris-artistic-shadow-refill-p-4922.html
I love mine. I have them in palette form and singles in z-palettes.
BEST EYESAHDOWS I'VE EYER USED.
NOTE: I am not affiliated with Love-Makeup at all - i do not make any money from any goods you decide to buy.

NARS CACTUS FLOWER CREME BLUSH
This is one NARS blush (cream) that doesn't get the press it deserves. A pink/red blush with gold glitter/shimmer that looks stunning on all skin tones.
Granted you need to be a fan of shimmer/glitter as this really does stand out - but if you are - you cannot go wrong here.
Gives the most gorgeous sheen to the skin and looks stunning on women of colour.
NARS really do excel on blushes. The shimmer single eyeshadows i can live without but the blushes are beautiful.
Got it? Love it? Hate it? Let me know...

NARS LOOSE POWDER
NARS loose powder has to be one of the best loose powders around. This is due to several reasons.
1. The amount you get. 35g of product. This is HUGE.
2. Great colour selection for light/medium skin tones.
3. It feels great on the skin and gives a truly polished finish.
With that said there is one (or two) major drawbacks.
1. While this thing is HUGE the case (while lovely to look at) loses a lot of product. You cannot travel with this! It will get very very messy quickly.
2. The lack of shades for darker skinned women. With beach being the only shade available for women of colour - this yellow based shade will work for most but not for all. I would like to see a larger range of colours for WOC.
Should you buy this? It depends. While its not as silky as MUFE super matte loose powder its still a great buy providing your skin tone is not NW45 or higher.
What do you think?
ALSO - the sparkling loose powders are amazing, get them while you can - i believe they are being discontinued :(
