MAC MAGICALLY COOL LIQUID POWDER

Remind you of anything????

Prescriptives magic powder? Remember it? All the hype? All the fuss? Will give you a candle light glow? Well it didn't work as they wanted back then and it still doesn't now.

What it does do is impart a subtle amount of light shimmer to the skin and is a great option for people who are sick of matte powders.

The one thing that i think is very good is the shimmer seems less so than the older magic powder. Which is a good thing.

Here is a funny thing before i leave you all. CONTAINS 70% water! Thats the claim. 70% water! So you mean i'm spending £23.50 on something that is 70% water!

:)

  2. since Estee Lauder owns both brands and they are stopping producing Prescriptives I heard that MAC got whatever it is they need to create this off them so it's the same if not with a few tweeks!

  3. M.A.C have had a first refusal on adopting products from the Prescriptives range, this powder isn't the only thing that's become M.A.C branded. Some of these new products are good & some are bad but I fear that it's just another example of M.A.C losing it's brand identity & becoming another Lauder clone.

  4. The Mac Falsh Lash mascara is also the same as that Prescriptives one that used to be really popular x

  6. and for something that's 70% water it also contains a hefty amount of bismuth oxychloride (which i'm allergic to and didn't know was in this...imagine my dismay this morning when my face was swollen and peeling)...

not a win mac...not even a hit. at least not to me.

  8. Well, I'm always late to the party. This product was the thing from Prescriptives I did NOT like! (And I relied on Prescriptives for my basics, so was full of anxiety when they stopped production. I probably still have it. I kept it as I don't usually wear powder, and it's a powder. But I started using some Chanel products meant for highlighting (I think) for powder necessities.

NOW, I find out I should have saved my empties and hauled them down to the Mac counter and said, do YOU have any of these favorites of mine?

Learning, even belatedly, is better than never learning, right?
